About M12

M12 is an Italian resortwear brand inspired by the quiet side of Mediterranean summer.

The name comes from a Mediterranean code: M for Mare and Mediterranean, 12 for the meridian line of the Pontine Islands — the sea around Ponza and Palmarola.

We created M12 for the hours between the city and the sea: the boat, the beach, the swim, the lunch after, the walk back at sunset. Pieces made to feel considered, never loud. Simple enough for the island, refined enough for everything that follows.

Our first chapter is Palmarola, a hidden island near Ponza, less performed than the places everyone already knows. For us, Palmarola represents a quieter kind of Italian summer: warm, effortless, Mediterranean, and slightly out of reach.

M12 creates swimwear, beach bags, towels, linen shirts and summer essentials for that feeling.

Not the loud summer.
